3 and 12 weeks
The next three weeks are going to be quite pivotal in my business and personal life. With a number of things being finished up and a number of other things coming to a close, the next 3 and 12 weeks of my life are going to be transforming. I may post more details as they come to pass.
I wrote about this earlier in the year and my business situation prevented me from following through. I have a deep desire to get back into fitness and nutrition. I've started Kung Fu training and even some aerobics, but I have not followed through with the entire program. I am making a commitment to myself to follow through and DO!
If you would like to follow along, I will be blogging my experience from my personal website. I will post a link when it is ready. I WILL journal my measurements, photographs, exercise routine, supplements and even diet for at least the next 12 weeks. I will follow the "Body for Life" program but with some modification for "survival (combat) strength", Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Boxing and yoga. I WILL post daily reports, weekly summaries and continued development.
The new website will be open to the public but will also include private areas for more "intimate" photographs, stories and discussions. (Sorry folks, still too many psycho weirdoes hanging around.) It is the culmination of years of work to integrate blogs, calendars, news letters, personal profiles, web pages, image galleries into an easy content management system. Many of the tools were built for client websites, but I will use the special ones for myself.
I have ordered several Japanese Bonsai seeds and I will start the germination process this week. I will list the species of trees on the page. I need to buy a few more that will round out the collect. The point of the bonsai trees is patience, persistence and dedication. It takes at least 7 years to take a tress from seed to mature bonsai, and it will take 7 years for me to reach the levels of Kung Fu, Tai Chi and other professional, personal and even spirituality that I wish for.
I must start from the seed all over again. A clean start, a fresh start but with an attitude of do or die. I have resolved that it's past the time to try and time for the do. It's not about becoming, it about being, and it's not about the trying, it's about doing.
Anyway... words are cheap, actions are what prove a mans metal. So sit back, relax and watch this soft metal be formed into hard, lean, strong, and powerful human elemental steel. That Dow Chemical commercial is inspiring, "the human element." I really want to expound upon that concept greatly, just not sure how.
