Sam Smith
Putting the Art Back into Martial Arts

I had a great conversation with Sam Smith last night regarding my martial arts training, well after he finished laughing at all my excuses for not starting yet. I really like Sam and am very excited to get started. He is very knowledgeable in his art with a strong integrity to the tradition and fundamental concepts of martial arts. I've always wanted to study with a master of the art who will teach more than simply fighting skills. My interest in this ancient and misunderstood art includes the health, psychological, spiritual and intangible benefits. I honestly believe I have found the teacher who can help me discover that which I seek.

This is all part of my overall complete fitness plan which provides strength, stamina, agility, health and confidence in a manner that prepares me overall. It's a personal "disaster preparedness" plan that moves me toward the goal to have the strength and skills to survive when it matters most. I will write much more about this in the coming weeks.
