Hugh Hewitt : "Not liberal, but radical"
I was toying with the idea of creating a new political website called "StumpSeason.com" but my workload prevented it from becoming more than a splash page. After what I've seen in the past few weeks and even some private information I received regarding our own KY Warren County Judge Executive race, my stomach for politics is cramped from the putrid stench of greed, dirty politics and winning at all cost.
I'm proud of Denny Hastert!! Sure I was pulling for him, of course I would. He's a great man, a fellow republican and I even met him once. That's not why I was pulling for him though... I was pulling for him because I didn't want this well timed, well promoted, "StumpSeason" strategy take him out. He showed great courage and I will not soon forget those who abandoned him.
Democrats are pledged to retreat from Iraq and more rights for suspected terrorists, as well as a blanket amnesty uncouple to border security of any sort. Stocks are soaring and gas prices are falling. The would be leadership of the House is not liberal, but radical.
I find that I agree!! Is America paying attention?
I apologize to my democrat friends (and clients) in advance, but this election cycle has me thanking my lucky stars that I'm a republican, so much so that I'm considering more ways to get involved, more ways to serve, and more ways to prevent the return of liberal/radical leadership in Washington.
Funny, I was wondering how the GOP were going to motivate the voters into action... they didn't have to, the loud liberal democrats did it for them.
